Sorry everyone for not posting sooner. We have been a very busy family. Of course when are we not. Well as you all know we got home on Feb. 28th in the evening. We tried to sleep on and off throughout the day while the boys were in school. Then on Friday we had our annual marriage retreat for church. Jacob and I showed up on Saturday morning due to sleep issues. When we arrived we brought in the egg rolls that I was asked to make and some of the decorations for the evening dinner. This years theme was Asian, go figure and where did we just come back from. Well everyone wanted to know where the baby was and we teased and said we left her at home because it was married couples only. They got upset so we went out and got her. It was funny. We didn't get to hold her a whole lat then, she was the star. Sunday at church we didn't have her at all. We even had potluck afterwards and we still dint have her, Jacob finally went up to whom ever had her and asked if he may have his baby now, it was so cute and funny. We are so very glad to be home.
Monday through Friday Dakota has soccer after school but it is about 10 min away from his school at Gk high school so he needs to be picked up and dropped off. I tried it a bit but it was during the time that Brooklyn was napping so now I have a high school gal driving him and we pay her weekly. It makes my life easier. He is there for 2 hours and then takes and activity bus home, gets home for about 45 minutes and then has to leave for another 2 hours of wrestling practice. He is a very determined young man. He is now 5'7 and weighs 128.7lbs. He needs some meet on his bones. He likes it though. He also is in another musical at school, Disney's High School Musical. He has a show this evening and we will post some photos of him for all of you. On Monday he had emergency surgery on his throat. He had a growth behind his tonsils and he couldn't open his jaw up and talk. He is taking lots of meds but is better now. He missed a few musical performances but is going to be doing his Sat. evening one.
Austin has Tae kwon Do Monday through Friday but it is a 5pm so it is much easier on the schedule. He sure loves it. He loves to skateboard too. You find him outside all the time . He keeps telling us how is birthday is in one month and he wants either a dirt bike or a new computer. WOW whatever happened to asking for gifts like a bike or a movie. Today Austin and Jacob went out clamming. I hope that they have fun which i know they will but i would rather it not be brought to the house. As all of you know i don't eat anything that is in the water.
Brooklyn is doing well. The doctors have her on a nebulizer for her asthma. They said that more than likely she will out grow it but due to having bronchitis so young it will be a while. She now has a cold that we are trying to fight. Talk about having to have to clean out the nose. She sure hates that. She has been having problems with the formula and so now we have her on goats milk and she is doing great. We are so very happy. We got her ears pierced Sunday after church. She didnt like it too much but after we got her up she was fine. They look so cute on her.
Well i will try to post again real soon. I will for sure put more pictures on for all of you.
Love you all very much and want to thank you for your support.

Congratulations on your baby girl!
We wonder whether your agency and/or social worker helped educate you about attachment parenting? It generally is not advised that a newly adopted child, transplanted from a different country, be passed around from person to person, especially when she is out of your sight. Your Brooklyn needs time with just your family and needs to be held by you rather than being given from person to person. She needs to attach to you.
Attachment in Adoption is an exellent book.
Best wishes to you,
Tess
